Since we introduced our new identity change from the Canadian Liver Foundation to Liver Canada, I’ve been genuinely moved by the warmth and enthusiasm of people in our community. It’s moments like these that remind me why this work is so important, not just for the lives we touch, but for the sense of togetherness that makes everything we do possible.
At its heart, Liver Canada is about people. It’s about the individuals and families who trust us to provide guidance, the advocates who work tirelessly alongside us to push for change, and the everyday Canadians who join us in our mission because they believe in a future where liver diseases no longer steal moments from our lives.
We don’t just serve a community—we are part of it. The connections we’ve built are personal, and they matter deeply to me and everyone involved with Liver Canada. Every time we help someone understand their liver health, every time we make progress in advocating for better health policies, it’s a victory we all share. It’s your support that makes these moments possible, and for that, I can’t thank you enough.
