Easy High Protein Pizza Crust

Celebrate National Pizza Day with this crispy, chicken-based high-protein pizza crust. This pizza is a nourishing, liver-friendly option that the whole family will love, delivering all the cheesy, comforting pizza flavor in an easy and satisfying meal.

  • 1 cup rotisserie chicken, lightly shredded
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 medium eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • your choice of toppings
  • 5-10 fresh basil leaves (optional)

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. In a food processor, combine the lightly shredded chicken, beaten eggs, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, and Italian seasoning. Blend until fully mixed and the chicken is finely minced.
  3. Using an oven-safe skillet or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, press the mixture down into your desired shape with your fingertips, keeping a relatively consistent thickness.
  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes* until the crust is firm and begins to brown. If the crust feels too soft, continue to bake in small increments for another 2-4 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and spread a layer of pizza sauce across the crust, leaving a small gap around the edge. Add your favourite pizza toppings, and top with the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese,
  6. Place back in the oven for at least 5–7 minutes or until the cheese starts bubbling and begins to brown.
  7. Remove and allow the pizza to cool slightly before slicing. Optionally, top with fresh basil and enjoy!
