Over 30 years of partnership. Over $4.8 million raised for Canadians affected by liver disease and a shared belief that every Canadian deserves access to care, stigma-free support, and hope when it matters most. Today, Liver Canada is recognizing a long-standing and meaningful partnership with HealthPartners.
Since 1988, HealthPartners has created a simple and meaningful way for workplaces across Canada to give back to Canada’s health charities and the communities and people they serve.
For Liver Canada, this partnership – and the giving platform it provides – has been transformative.
“With 1 in 4 Canadians affected by liver disease, this is a national health issue,” says Margaux Stastny, CEO of HealthPartners. “We’re proud to support Liver Canada – and to make it simple for workplaces and donors to back a cause that matters to so many.”
Thanks to the generosity of HealthPartners’ donors, Liver Canada continues to be Canada’s leading voice on liver health. In the past year alone, we launched a school education program for youth between the ages of # and #, deployed our first PSA encouraging Canadians to change their perspective on liver health, and our support team logged more than 100,000 hours through our National Help Line.
That kind of impact and reach doesn’t happen without partners who believe in our mission of liver health for all.
Liver Canada is proud to be a member of HealthPartners, alongside other leading health charities in Canada, where our collective impact improves and responds to the evolving health challenges of Canadians. We commend HealthPartners for their ongoing support of liver health and look forward to another 30 years of partnership!
