Blood Orange Rosemary Mint Mule Mocktail

A vibrant blood orange cocktail with smoky zero proof mezcal, sweet herbal notes, and a refreshing citrusy finish. A refreshing drink that’s perfect for the holiday season.

ingredients

  • 2 oz freshly squeezed blood orange juice
  • 1 oz zero proof (non-alcoholic) mezcal
  • juice of ½ lime
  • ½ oz rosemary mint syrup (see ingredients below)
  • 2 oz sparkling water
  • 2 oz ginger beer

rosemary mint syrup:

  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 rosemary sprigs
  • 3–4 mint leaves

directions

  1. For the syrup: In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup, water, rosemary, and mint. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer for 8–10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. In a glass filled with ice, combine blood orange juice, zero proof mezcal, lime juice, and syrup.
  3. Top with sparkling water and ginger beer and garnish with a blood orange slice and rosemary sprig.
