Yet awareness of these risks\u00a0remains\u00a0low among Canadians.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"paragraph\">In today\u2019s <i>Globe and Mail, <\/i>Dr. Eric Yoshida, Chair of Liver Canada's Medical Advisory Board, and co-authors are making the case for clear health warning labels on alcoholic beverages. Bill S-202, currently before Parliament, would require alcohol products to include warnings about risks including cancer, cirrhosis, mental health\u00a0concerns\u00a0and addiction.<\/p>\r\nAt Liver Canada, we support greater awareness of the connection between alcohol and liver health.
