On top of being delicious (they really are!), they’re so important.

But why are liver-friendly recipes so important? I think of the liver as your body’s number one superhero. It’s one of the most vital steps for our digestive system, filtering and eliminating toxins, metabolizing our fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, and detoxifying and purifying our blood. A healthier diet leads to a healthier liver, and ultimately a healthier you. When you regularly consume fatty or fried foods and meals high in added sugar, extra fat in the liver may develop and your liver becomes vulnerable to further injury such as inflammation and scarring. I created these recipes with all of this in mind, and I know you’ll love them.

By limiting the foods that make our liver’s jobs harder (a diet high in nutrients, low in processed foods and refined sugars, and low in saturated fats) we’re creating an environment for the liver to do its many jobs well. These free recipes will help you with this, without compromising on taste!

Whether you are a beginner in the kitchen or a master chef, these recipes are for you. Please have fun with them and modify them to your specific diet, whether that be vegan, dairy free, gluten free, etc.

Finally, don’t forget to share your creations with us!
