London has one of the highest organ donation rates; over 160 transplants are performed annually and over 1,600 liver transplants have been performed since the first transplant in 1973. The fundraising events in the region include Stroll for Liver and What a Girl Wants.
With a population of only 108,500 people, the Chatham-Kent region is the smallest of the CLF regions. Running a successful TV/internet auction for a number of years the community, despite its sized, has always supported our efforts in funding liver research.
