Host an Event and Join the Fight!
As a charity, the CLF relies upon the generosity of individual Canadians, corporate sponsors and federal, provincial and local governments to fund our research and education programs. Faced with a competitive marketplace full of good causes however, it can be a challenge winning support for an often overlooked and misunderstood health issue like liver disease.
Community based events have always been an integral part of the CLF's fundraising efforts combining fun, camaraderie and, in some cases, a little friendly competition, for a good cause.
Without the efforts of volunteers and participants collecting pledges, soliciting sponsorships, organizing events and speaking to groups and corporations in communities across Canada, we would not be able to invest in liver research. Since our inception in 1969, we have invested over $24 million in research grants.
